Why laptop security?

Keep It Secure: One day, you have a room full of shiny new laptops, loaded with software, connected to your wireless network and with everyone working away on them merrily. The next morning you return to discover that the laptops have been stolen leaving you to deal with the police, insurers, loss of vital data and perhaps worst of all the recriminations of your colleagues. If you’re going to use laptops, you need to find a means to secure them. However, it’s not practical to have them bolted down to desks or locked away when people need to use them. The reason for investing in laptops is to benefit from the portability and flexibility that they offer.
